Striders are about as fantasy-like as you get, sweetheart. Unfathomably cool and schooled hard in the graduatin’ class of ironics anonymous and sword-carryin’ to boot.
But beyond that, I’m havin’ a grand old time what with my temporary status as a vampire. How about yourself?

Yeah, he was cool. I heard he was a Lord that was also a Mage or something? I think his named started with a B, and his last name was Winters or Winter or something cold like that. B…B…Winters…?Hm. I’m sure it’s not important.
I can swim! I mean, I can swim a little. I prefer stickin to the surface myself, ‘cause y’know, feathers get heavy when wet, especially when you’re a bird that ISN’T used to the sea…
We should definitely do the swimming thing though!

Great! There’s a really nice shallow area we can swim at so you don’t have to go out too deep!
If you’re not used to the sea though… Well there’s a lot of water! It might be a bit overwhelming at first. The water is really beautiful though I think you’re going to like it!
Aliel tapped her chin with a clawed hand, looking into the water. She had to of been careful of those razor shop talons earlier when Rose took her hand. Nodding, Aliel smiled and approached the water, getting knee deep.
Knee? Did she even have knees? Such questions would be better left to the biologists. The Xeno-Fantasy Biologists. Were Harpies considered aliens? Truly a mystery.
Her leg feathers were wet. Fun times.
She looked back at Rose and smiled.
The waters nice. I like it! It’s not cold like lake water usually gets either!

I kinda know what that’s like. I used to have a home, but now I just kinda wander. I still have a territory I come back to defend and kick out other harpies when they decide that it’s cool to try and mess with my stuff, but other than that I just sorta migrate a lot aimlessly.
Not really by choice, but if I stayed back where i’m from, i’d never meet anyone.
A Dragon? well there aren’t as many Dragons around here as much. There are still a few.
One of my best friends is a Dragon.

Exploration is dangerous but fun. I get in lots of scraps all the time, but I figure I get stronger for it too.
